Simple Tips on How to Get Shiny Hair

It is not really hard to achieve a healthy mane but you need to add an extra step or two to your routine and you are good to go. Below are tips on how to get the shiny hair you’ve always wanted the easy way:

For curly hair

The key is to kill the dryness. Moisturize your hair every wash.

Step 1

Hair Cleansing: Hydrate your curly hair. Curly hair tends to be more dry than straight mane. The hair cuticles of curly hair is a little rougher than straight hair. Always choose moisturizing type of shampoo and conditioner. Hydrating products can make your hair shine because it can prevent frizz by adding in extra weight to your every strand.

To maintain hair’s shine you need to let the natural healthy oils of your hair. You can do this by washing every other day with shampoo and still use conditioner.

Step 2

Hair Preparation: Before styling use hair serums. Serums does maintain shine and further enhance it to prevent and cure gaps in your hair cuticle. Detangling your hair will be much easier with the help of creams and serums. Always use wide-tooth comb with the serums.

Step 3

Hair Styling: When styling hair you only need to twist and scrunch. Shape each curl to make it uniform then use hair blower to dry. You can also opt to air dry to avoid heat. Use hair shine spray afterwards.

For Straight hair

Step 1

Hair Cleansing: Once a week use a special deep cleansing shampoo to get rid of product build up and grease. Apply conditioner on your hair strands from ear to the tip to create a barrier for the product. Apply the shampoo on your roots then rinse everything. This is good as it fully cleans without drying your hair.

 Step 2

Hair Preparation: After towel drying hair apply hair polish and run through fine tooth comb. This will fill in the damages of your hair and will also protect the strands from dryness when you blow-dry. You can use hair volumizer to add some height.

 Step 3

Hair Styling: If you have a nozzle attach that to your blow-dryer. Point the airflow down your hair from above., this process will smooth out your hair cuticle as it dries. Finish the style with a cuticle sealing blast of cold air. Use polishing milk after drying on the hair ends to prevent or fix split ends.
