Pimples are an inflammation of the skin in which the sebaceous glands become infected with bacteria, swell up, and fill with pus. You can get rid of pimples by applying these home remedies

Use Honey

Honey is a source of natural antibiotics and speeds up the healing process, as well as helps to prevent infections. Dip and clean cotton swab in honey then put it directly on the affected area and leave it on for half an hour.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is anti bacterial and prevents inflammation. Aloe Vera, the wonder remedy for a genre of disease, is a good natural remedy. Apply the pulp of the leaves directly on the surface of the pimples.

Garlic

Garlic is thought to be a good natural remedy for acne because of its supposed antibacterial properties. Apply garlic to your skin without diluting it first. It helps a lot to clear the face by removing pimples.

Olive oil

Make a paste of salt and olive oil and use it on the affected area. Wash it off after some time. Before you go to bed, apply a cold pack or an ice pack on your face. This will help reduce the swelling in your face and redness in the pimples.

Neem and turmeric

A paste of neem leaves and turmeric in water base when applied on the pimples and is left for half and hour heals pimples fast and effectively. Although it is time taken procedure yet very beneficial.

Lemon juice

Lemon juice when mixed with ground nut oil and then applied on the affected surface is a very good remedy for pimples. Sandal wood powder can also be added for added benefit. Cinnamon power mixed with lemon juice also works wonders for pimples.

Toothpaste

Apply the toothpaste on the affected skin and keep it for 10 to 15 minutes or you can also leave it for overnight. Wash off with cold water to get an immediate effect. But remember not to use the toothpaste in gel form and not to use it on other parts of the skin. As it may increase skin drying and cause irritation.

Basil Leaves

Liquid extracted from basil leaves is very effective for removing pimples. Take few basil leaves and dip them in warm water for around 20 minutes. Cleanse your face and apply the extracted liquid with the help of a cotton ball before sleeping at night. In morning, you will find that the pimples have diminished and the skin is clearer.
