The list on the left explains how men and women take different paths following a breakup. A breakup brings uncertainty about the future. It affects your routine life, your responsibilities, your relationships with extended family and friends and even your identity. Both men and women use different ways to handle splits. Here are some tips to deal with breakup:

Talk to your friends

Talk to your friends as this time you need people who love you and can help you to make feel better. Surround yourself with compassionate, supportive friends and family as it will make you feel good about you and will help you to get steady on your feet again with your loved ones around you in a comforting net easily.

Remind best moments

Breakups can give feelings of pain and loss. It makes you think negative rather than remembering all the things you appreciate. Remind the best moments of your life and try to arise positives waves in you by forgetting the pain.

Avoid depression

Depression is very common during breakup if you indulge yourself in past all time. After breakup, crying and feeling pain happens but after a while, the sadness begins to lift. Day by day and little by little, you start moving on. So avoid depression by keeping yourself busy.

Don’t change your decision

Don’t change your decision with time. If the breakup was your decision, keep in mind that only thinking about all the good times you had with your partner may cause you to forget the reasons why you broke it off. So find happiness in your present with whatever you have now.

Get motivated

Get motivated towards your life by moving on. Some women have bitter feelings toward their ex-boyfriends. Some behave in violent and crazy ways, while others let their performance level take a downward fall. Remember that pain will only make you weak and suffering.

Keep your dignity

It is our own ego that causes the pain most of the time and we feel rejected, embarrassed and deceived.. A breakup can really undermine your self-confidence and shake your self-esteem to the core when your partner has cheated on you.

Erase old memories

There are all kinds of things that remind you of your ex: a song, a smell, a sound, a place. When some time passed, erase all the memories with that person to avoid painful feelings as there are probably things that are pushing your buttons without your conscious recognition.

Stay active

Exercise improves your mood and alleviates depression and the distraction will help keep your mind off your situation. Do physical activities such as go running outside, go to the gym, or just go for a walk to destroy the anger or sadness.
