Disease in organs

Organ enlargement, such as from an ovarian cyst, and obstruction of lymph fluid can also be the reason for increasing weight. Disease in any organ like kidney, heart can cause fluid retention and it generally appears as swelling in different body parts especially in the eyes and ankles.

Many women are engaged in emotional eating which is known as a response to anxiety, depression and assumed as an attempt to fill a void in your life through food. Chocolate and other sweets may consider as comfort food but it increases the weight.
