You can easily determine your face shape by knowing about it i.e. round, oval, heart, square, diamond shape. With a great haircut and layering technique that is finely tuned to your face shape, you can truly make the best of yourself. We must take haircut which suits best according to our face shape. Measure your face across the widest points of your forehead, the tops of your cheekbones and your jaw line, and then measure your face from your hairline to your chin. Following are description of haircut which is perfect for your face shape:

Oval shape

If your face tends to look long, cutting straight bangs across the brow line can break up the length by creating the illusion of width. A center part on hair that is shoulder-length or longer is nice against an oval backdrop.

Oval faces tend to look good in everything, but their faces can appear long, so think twice before adding height on top of the head in the form of a trendy, ginormous donut bun, a teased up do or a spiky short cut. And always consider your hair texture.

Square shape

Square shaped face has a defined, square jawline and your hairline is probably straight.Wear your hair long in loose waves to soften your features and jawline. Pixie cuts, long layered styles and curly hair below the jawline also look great on a square face. If you want to wear your hair short, do so with a soft, layered bob. Don’t get a blunt cut as it will accentuate your boxy, square jaw.

Heart shape

Draw attention to your eyes and cheekbones and your jawline is long and pointed and is the narrowest part of your face.Long, wavy hair looks good on heart shaped face because the waves add width to the sides of a long face. There is nothing sexier than just-out-of-the-ocean waves.

Round face

You have prominent cheeks, and the length and width of your face are about equal. A round face looks really good with an uneven cut, meaning a mix of lengths. Center parts can be slimming because they can make your face look longer.  Avoid short curly hair that makes your round face appear rounder. The better option would be a cut that hits below the chin or longer
