The pain in lower back used to be very intense and sometimes its main cause is wrong posture of body. There are some common causes of lower back pain like injury or overuse of muscle, pressure on nerve roots, fractures, herniated discs etc. Fractures or bone injuries caused by aging, accidents or some other medical condition is considered to be the  most common reason for the deep back pain. Back Strain or Sprain:

Sometimes heavy lifting can cause a strain to the lumbar muscles or strain to the ligament which may lead to slight crack in the disc which in cause pressure on nerve roots and eventually which results in the severe pain in the lower back.

The nerve irritation is also the reason for severe lower back pain. This can be caused by bone degenerative conditions like arthritis and osteoporosis die to weight gain or by viral infections.

Subluxation:

This is the condition which is can lead you to face severe lower back pain. It is the situation in which the lower back has been subjected to some postures which cause stress or strain which eventually result in locking up of vertebrae joints. The Subluxations then can be examined through x-rays and other computer based diagnostic equipments.

Facet Syndrome:

Our body has facet joints which are small joints in the back of the spine which allow the movements. The facet joints sometimes develop arthritis due to poor posture, past trauma or over exertion, which result in the severe pain in the lower back that you even become uncomfortable while sitting.

The degenerative disc disease is a very common cause of lower back pain which can be caused due to repeated bending, twisting, lifting or accidents and all these then become the reason due to which the spinal bones begin to lose water and deteriorate. Then you deteriorated disc start shrinking and start causing the severe pain in the joint of back and legs.

Sciatica:

The sciatica is also the common cause of lower back pain.  It is the situation in which the pain travel from the lower back down to the buttock, thigh, leg and then finally to the foot. The sciatica can be caused of many reasons like Subluxation, Tight buttock muscles, disc disease, strains etc.  This shows that one disease can be become the reason of several other health related problems.
